Member Training: Choosing the Best Statistical Analysis

Before you can write a data analysis plan, you have to choose the best statistical test or model. You have to integrate a lot of information about your research question, your design, your variables, and the data itself.

In this training, you’ll learn how to break down the overwhelming process into a few key steps. You’ll take them one at a time, which will allow you to narrow things down considerably on each step.

They’re not always easy, and you sometimes have to make hard decisions about which analysis is best. But taking the time to think through this before you collect data will save you hours of time and frustration down the line.

Note: This training is an exclusive benefit to members of the Statistically Speaking Membership Program and part of the Stat’s Amore Trainings Series. Each Stat’s Amore Training is approximately 90 minutes long.
